Silent Echoes
In the quietude of twilight's embrace,
Where shadows merge and memories trace,
I find myself lost in the caverns of absence,
Yearning for your touch, your essence.
The silence speaks volumes, a language unspoken,
A symphony of heartbeats, a promise broken.
Expectations, like fragile glass, shatter,
Leaving shards of pain, scattered.
Each echo of your laughter, now a phantom note,
Haunts the corridors of my soul, aching and remote.
The void you left behind, a cosmic expanse,
Where stars weep constellations, in a cosmic dance.
I listen to the hush of midnight's veil,
As if it holds secrets, whispers of a love frail.
The moon, a silent witness, weeps silver tears,
Mapping constellations of longing, spanning years.
Expectations birthed hope, but pain took its toll,
And now, silence reigns—a cavernous black hole.
Yet, I linger here, tracing memories' refrain,
Lost in the quiet, where love and loss remain.
