Dear Stars - 18 April 2024

Dear Stars,

Tonight, I find myself gazing up at your celestial brilliance, seeking solace in your distant glow. Allow me to share the whispers of my heart, woven into the fabric of this cosmic conversation.

Morning:

As dawn tiptoed across the horizon, I woke with a sense of anticipation. The sun, like a golden promise, painted the world anew. Hey, that’s me, stepped into the day with a heart brimming with hope. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee danced in the kitchen, and I sipped it slowly, savoring the warmth that seeped into my bones. The morning dew clung to blades of grass, and I wondered if you, dear stars, ever felt such earthly sensations.

Midday:

The hours unfolded, each a chapter in the story of existence. Work hummed around me—the keyboard’s staccato rhythm, the phone’s urgent trill. Yet, amidst the mundane, I found pockets of joy. Today, I missed someone, leaving echoes in the empty spaces. All of a sudden, I got a call from the person, and the voice gave me new energy. It was a serious discussion, but I had also missed the voice a lot, which gave me happiness.

Evening:

As twilight painted the sky in hues of lavender, I stood on the balcony. The wind whispered ancient tales, and I listened. The stars above, distant yet steadfast, reminded me of constancy. They seemed to say, “Life is a tapestry of light and shadow. Embrace both.” So, I did. I reveled in the symphony of crickets, the way the breeze tousled my hair, and the way memories danced like fireflies.

Night:

Now, as I lie on the bench on the open terrace, I address you, luminous sentinels. Tonight, I confess my heart’s secrets. Happiness blooms in unexpected corners—a shared smile, casual talks. But the missing—they linger. The presence of a special one, the sound of their laughter, the way they filled the room with warmth. Stars, do you ever miss your fellow cosmic wanderers?

Closing:

Dear celestial companions, thank you for listening. Tonight, I release my hopes and sorrows into the vastness. May they reach you, scattered across light-years. Perhaps, in some parallel universe, our stories intersect. Until then, I’ll keep speaking to you, my silent confidants. For in your distant glow, I find solace—a reminder that we’re all stardust, yearning for connection.

With love,

Cyriac 🌟
