Solitude Under the Moonlit Sky - 25 April 24
Solitude Under the Moonlit Sky
I spent my evening engrossed in the pages of 'The Day of Alone', contemplating upon how solitude can often serve as our greatest companion during times of introspection, where we get to focus on ourselves without being bombarded by distractions from society. As I sat quietly underneath this star-studded night sky, pondering over thoughts related to startup updates and implementing them effectively, I couldn't help but feel the weight of loneliness creeping in. Sometimes, amidst all the noise around us, it becomes difficult for even the most extroverted individuals to connect deeply within themselves. But here, surrounded only by nature's beauty, everything seemed peaceful - almost therapeutic!
As much as I enjoy collaborating and working alongside others in bringing forth new ideas into fruition, there was something uniquely satisfying about taking this moment alone to reflect on recent developments concerning our startup. It allowed me time to analyze what has worked well so far, while also identifying areas that need improvement. This process reminded me once again why entrepreneurship is such a rewarding yet challenging venture - striking the right balance between creativity and pragmatism while navigating through uncertainty isn't always easy.
One thought that kept crossing my mind throughout my introspective session was the impact of technology on human interaction. Despite enabling communication across vast distances and connecting millions of people globally, social media platforms have simultaneously led to increased isolation among individuals who struggle with maintaining meaningful connections offline. How could we leverage technology for good, promoting empathy and fostering genuine relationships instead of succumbing to its negative effects? It was fascinating to consider these questions and engage in fruitful discussions with the Moon and Stars above – they seemed to listen attentively, offering their own insights and wisdom.
Though today may have been a solitary experience, I cherished every quiet minute spent reflecting on both personal growth and business strategy. Being alone didn't mean isolation; rather, it served as a reminder to appreciate and value my inner voice when seeking clarity amid chaos. As I gaze at the endless expanse of celestial wonders above me, I'm grateful for moments like these – those rare instances when life allows one to pause, take a deep breath, and truly tune into oneself amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday living. Tomorrow brings new challenges and opportunities, but tonight, I'll sleep peacefully knowing that I've taken the time to nourish my soul beneath the moonlit sky.

"Its ok that you're not ok"
"Grief is not a problem to be solved; it's an experience to be carried."
Here are 10 lessons you can learn from Megan Devine's book, "It's OK That You're Not OK":
1. Reframing Grief: The book challenges the societal pressure to "get over" grief quickly. It emphasizes that grief is a natural and messy process, and there's no right or wrong way to experience it.
2. Acknowledge Your Pain: "It's OK That You're Not OK" encourages acknowledging your pain and allowing yourself to feel your emotions, rather than suppressing them. Bottling up emotions can hinder healing.
3. There's No Linear Path: Grief doesn't follow a neat timeline. The book acknowledges the unpredictable nature of grief, with waves of emotions that can come and go over time.
4. Grief is Love in its Wildest Form: Devine suggests that grief is a testament to the love you shared with the person you lost. The intensity of your pain reflects the depth of your love.
5. Not Everything Needs to be "Fixed": The book challenges the idea that grief needs to be "fixed" or solved. It emphasizes that some things, like the loss of a loved one, can only be carried and endured with strength and time.
6. The Importance of Compassion: "It's OK That You're Not OK" encourages self-compassion during this difficult time. Be kind to yourself and acknowledge the emotional toll that grief takes.
7. Beware of "Grief Police": The book criticizes the tendency for others to downplay or dismiss your grief with phrases like "everything happens for a reason" or "move on." Surround yourself with supportive people who understand your pain.
8. The Power of Creative Expression: Creative outlets like writing, art, or music can provide a healthy way to express your grief and begin to process your emotions.
9. Grief Can Change You: The book acknowledges that grief can be a transformative experience. You may emerge from this challenging time with a new perspective on life and deeper appreciation for what you have.
10. Finding Meaning in Suffering: While there may not be easy answers, "It's OK That You're Not OK" encourages finding meaning in the midst of suffering. This could involve honoring the memory of the lost loved one, cherishing the time you had together, or finding strength to support others going through grief.
By offering a compassionate and validating approach to grief, "It's OK That You're Not OK" equips readers with tools to navigate this difficult journey and find healing and peace over time.

Unseen Bonds ✨️
Unseen Bonds
In the quiet corners of a bustling city, where the hum of traffic and the neon glow of streetlights blend into a symphony of anonymity, two souls found solace. Sree, a man in his thirties, carried the weight of heartbreaks and downtimes like a seasoned traveler. His eyes held stories of sunsets over rice paddies, of dreams plowed into furrows, and of ambitions that stretched beyond the horizon.
Sree hailed from a village where the earth smelled of promise, where the monsoons danced with the crops, and where the sun painted golden strokes across the sky. His farmer family had etched resilience into his bones, and yet, he yearned for more. An entrepreneur at heart, he wore many hats—a painter who whispered secrets to his canvas, a photographer who captured fleeting moments, a musician who strummed melodies of longing, and a writer who penned short tales of love and loss.
And then there was Ponnu, a girl in her twenties, fresh out of college, and carrying the weight of her own past. Her footsteps traced the path from a village nestled among hills to the heart of the city. Family businesses and ancestral legacies tugged at her, but she sought refuge in the anonymity of urban life. Traumatized by memories that clung like cobwebs, she vowed never to tread the fragile bridges of relationships again. Love was a distant star, its light swallowed by the vastness of her fears.
Their paths converged unexpectedly, like two lost travelers stumbling upon an oasis. Sree, with his salt-and-pepper hair and eyes that held both wisdom and vulnerability, noticed Ponnu across the crowded café. She sat there, her fingers tracing patterns on the rim of her coffee cup, lost in thoughts that mirrored his own. Their gazes met—a silent recognition that transcended introductions.
They became friends—the kind who shared secrets without hesitation, who laughed until tears blurred their vision, and who sat together in companionable silence, as if words were mere echoes of deeper emotions. Sree found solace in Ponnu's presence. She was the only one he could talk to about the ache in his chest—the fear of falling again, of getting hurt. He reveled in her laughter, the way it danced like sunlight on water, and he cherished the way she listened, really listened, as if his words were constellations waiting to be mapped.
But love tiptoed into their friendship, uninvited yet inevitable. Sree's heart swirled with colors he couldn't name. He watched Ponnu—the way her hair caught the morning light, the way her laughter tinkled like wind chimes, and the way her eyes held galaxies of unspoken dreams. Yet, he dared not confess. His age whispered caution, and the fear of loss and rejection clung to him like shadows.
Ponnu, too, carried her own secret—a garden of feelings she tended silently. She cared for Sree in ways that transcended mere friendship. Her heart recognized his scars, and she watered them with kindness. But she didn't send updates or signals. She didn't say, "I feel this too." Instead, she wove her affection into their conversations, into the way she remembered his favorite song lyrics and the way she saved the last bite of dessert for him.
And so, they existed—an unseen bond between them, fragile yet unbreakable. Sree loved Ponnu without expectations, without demands. He reveled in her happiness, even when it wasn't his own. And Ponnu, in her quiet way, held space for him—a harbor where he could dock his weary heart.
Perhaps love doesn't always demand grand gestures or declarations. Sometimes, it thrives in the quietude of shared glances, in the warmth of a borrowed scarf, and in the way two souls find refuge in each other's company. Sree and Ponnu—two travelers on parallel paths, their hearts entwined like vines seeking sunlight, their love a whispered secret known only to the wind.
The bond between Sree and Ponnu transcends conventional labels—a love deeper than friendship, stronger than cousins, and more profound than any other relation.
And so, they continued—the artist and the girl with stardust in her eyes—writing their story in the margins of life, where love bloomed quietly, like wildflowers in an abandoned field.

Dear Stars - 18 April 2024
Dear Stars,
Tonight, I find myself gazing up at your celestial brilliance, seeking solace in your distant glow. Allow me to share the whispers of my heart, woven into the fabric of this cosmic conversation.
Morning:
As dawn tiptoed across the horizon, I woke with a sense of anticipation. The sun, like a golden promise, painted the world anew. Hey, that’s me, stepped into the day with a heart brimming with hope. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee danced in the kitchen, and I sipped it slowly, savoring the warmth that seeped into my bones. The morning dew clung to blades of grass, and I wondered if you, dear stars, ever felt such earthly sensations.
Midday:
The hours unfolded, each a chapter in the story of existence. Work hummed around me—the keyboard’s staccato rhythm, the phone’s urgent trill. Yet, amidst the mundane, I found pockets of joy. Today, I missed someone, leaving echoes in the empty spaces. All of a sudden, I got a call from the person, and the voice gave me new energy. It was a serious discussion, but I had also missed the voice a lot, which gave me happiness.
Evening:
As twilight painted the sky in hues of lavender, I stood on the balcony. The wind whispered ancient tales, and I listened. The stars above, distant yet steadfast, reminded me of constancy. They seemed to say, “Life is a tapestry of light and shadow. Embrace both.” So, I did. I reveled in the symphony of crickets, the way the breeze tousled my hair, and the way memories danced like fireflies.
Night:
Now, as I lie on the bench on the open terrace, I address you, luminous sentinels. Tonight, I confess my heart’s secrets. Happiness blooms in unexpected corners—a shared smile, casual talks. But the missing—they linger. The presence of a special one, the sound of their laughter, the way they filled the room with warmth. Stars, do you ever miss your fellow cosmic wanderers?
Closing:
Dear celestial companions, thank you for listening. Tonight, I release my hopes and sorrows into the vastness. May they reach you, scattered across light-years. Perhaps, in some parallel universe, our stories intersect. Until then, I’ll keep speaking to you, my silent confidants. For in your distant glow, I find solace—a reminder that we’re all stardust, yearning for connection.
With love,
Cyriac 🌟
